Biography

Keshavaram P is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the Manipal College of Health Professions (MCHP), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). He holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and is committed to advancing occupational therapy education, clinical practice, and research.

In his current role, He teaches undergraduate occupational therapy students and serves as a clinical supervisor for Pediatrics and Community posting units. His academic and clinical responsibilities focus on providing students with meaningful learning experiences while strengthening their practical skills in pediatric and community-based occupational therapy.

His research interests center on parenting children with neurodiverse conditions, parenting occupations, family-centered practice, and school-based occupational therapy. His work is particularly focused on understanding the experiences and occupations of parents and caregivers and developing family-centered approaches and interventions that can improve participation and quality of life for children with neurodevelopmental and other diverse conditions.

He has also demonstrated excellence in research dissemination and professional engagement. He received the Best E-Poster Award at the National Autism Conference organized by SRM College of Occupational Therapy, Chennai. Through his teaching, clinical supervision, and research, he continues to contribute to the development of evidence-based occupational therapy practice and more inclusive, family-centered approaches to supporting children and their caregivers.
